TOM is a special reporter for a current affairs edition, responsible for interviewing the rumored king of smuggled cars, a challenging task. To keep her whereabouts secret, she stays at the home of Uncle Ying, the newspaper's contact in mainland China, where she meets Yadong and hires him as her assistant. TOM cleverly obtains evidence of the car king's smuggling crimes with Yadong. Just when they are pursued by his henchmen, the Green Hornet swoops in to defeat the villains, and after his victory, he disappears mysteriously, leaving TOM feeling lost. Therefore, TOM is determined to stay and vows to find the Green Hornet...
