For a long time, the battle between humans and vampires has never ceased. Many years later, in order to survive, humans reside in cities strictly controlled by the church and have trained demon hunters to protect themselves. After the war with the vampires ended, the demon hunters were disbanded and gradually forgotten by the world. The legendary demon hunter (Paul Bettany) who had distinguished himself during the war has been in hiding for many years, but the sudden visit from Sheriff Hicks (Cam Gigandet) from Augustine brings him bad news; his distant relatives have been attacked by vampires, and his niece Lucy has been kidnapped. To save his family, the hunter defies the will of the bishops and embarks on his own journey to rescue them. Meanwhile, due to his defiance, the bishops send four demon hunters to hunt down the legendary hunter... This film is adapted from the widely acclaimed comic work "Priest" by Korean artist Min-Woo Hyung.
