András (played by Géza Morcsányi) works as a financial director at a slaughterhouse. He has no friends, no lover, and is used to a solitary life, going about his days alone. One day, a new quality inspector named Mária (played by Alexandra Borbély) joins the slaughterhouse. Although András considers himself introverted enough, Mária is even more socially anxious; she not only has communication difficulties but also suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder, avoiding interpersonal interactions outside of work. As time goes by, Mária gradually attracts András's attention because the seemingly distant pair share a secret—they have the same dream every night. This shared secret slowly brings them closer together.
