Mike is a dedicated police officer, and for this reason, his wife has become his ex-wife. His ex-wife's new husband, Rolly, is a clever inventor. A series of serial murders occur, and the cunning killer is about to surface. Mike turns to Rolly in hopes that he can help him overcome this final hurdle. Rolly brings his advanced "equipment" to assist Mike, but the operation ends with Mike making the ultimate sacrifice.
