The story takes place in a certain year during the Ming Dynasty. Duke Que (played by Pan Changjiang) is a wealthy young master who spends his days flirting and engaging in wrongdoing. One day, while he is teasing a beautiful pregnant woman, he is rescued by Zhang Guolao. Matchmaker Zhang (played by Huang Suying) is enamored with the wealth of the Que family and arranges for Miss Zou (played by Wei Yi) to be with the young master.
