Danny Rose (played by Woody Allen) was once an actor and later became a Broadway showbiz agent. He has discovered many promising newcomers, but they all eventually left him. Recently, he is promoting a married male singer, Lou Canova (played by Nick Apollo Forte). Lou is having an affair with a woman named Tina (played by Mia Farrow).
