Iron Egg (Gérard Depardieu) is a big talker who chats with others regardless of time, place, or person, which is why he has no friends. He keeps changing roommates in prison until he meets the silent assassin, Ruby. Iron Egg can keep talking to Ruby, who (Jean Reno) doesn't speak, doesn't get angry, and is always planning an escape. Although Ruby's escape plan is flawless, he finds himself stuck to Iron Egg. However, thanks to Iron Egg's help, they escape in the chaos.
