There are two extreme types of people in the world. One is incredibly lucky, like Ashley (played by Lindsay Lohan). Since high school, Ashley has been favored by fate. When she buys a scratch-off lottery ticket, she always wins the jackpot, and even on the busy streets of New York, multiple taxis stop for her. The halo of good luck always surrounds her, and this time, the masquerade ball hosted by a record mogul brings her an amazing opportunity for promotion. On the other extreme is Jack (played by Chris Pine), a janitor. Wherever he goes, clouds of misfortune gather; hospitals, police stations, and emergency centers for poisoning are familiar places for him. However, this optimistic man always faces every calamity with a calm demeanor and is determined to promote his band to the record mogul. Interestingly, at the masquerade ball, the two meet. An unexpected kiss spins the wheel of fate for both of them, leading their luck to opposite extremes. Thus, Ashley urgently wants to find the stranger who brought her bad luck to reclaim her fortune. Little did she expect that she would gradually fall in love with this boy...
