The poor soul of a little soldier, sexually assaulted by the commander and gang-raped overnight, after saying goodbye to his mother in the mourning hall, attaches itself to different living people and travels across countries, crossing oceans to visit his brother who has changed genders. Taiwan, Japan, Spain, Thailand, the mischievous little ghost interferes in the romantic encounters he witnesses, teasing and punishing unfaithful lovers, but unable to save his sister, who continues to face unfortunate relationships despite repeated efforts. Ultimately lost, he ends up in Hong Kong, meets like-minded girls, and helps an underappreciated young man compose a love song.
