David (Jason Sudeikis) is a drug dealer in Denver, living a life of pleasure. One night, an eighteen-year-old boy named Kenny (Will Poulter), who lives in the same apartment as David, sees a homeless girl being extorted and steps in to help. David can’t bear to watch Kenny getting bullied by thugs and joins the fray, but despite his efforts, he ends up losing all his possessions. Already in deep debt, David must accept a task assigned by his boss — to smuggle a shipment of marijuana from Mexico back to the United States. To cover their tracks, David recruits a stripper named Rose (Jennifer Aniston), Kenny, and the homeless girl, Casey (Emma Roberts), to pose as the Miller family, and they set off in a RV to Mexico. This makeshift family faces numerous challenges on their journey; will they successfully return with the drugs?
