The story takes place a long, long time ago, where Chad (played by Jack Black) and Oh (played by Michael Cera) are hunters in a primitive tribe. They are expelled for not adhering to the tribe's rules, so they accompany each other and embark on a journey away from their group. Along the way, they encounter a series of biblical figures, including Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, and Abraham, witnessing a series of biblical stories unfold before their eyes.
