Small-time character Wei Baobao (played by Pan Yueming) inadvertently gets involved in a gang's "black eats black" struggle while trying to woo a girl. Out of desperation, he has to impersonate a drug dealer named "Mr. Xue" to save his life. Unexpectedly, he crosses paths with "impostor undercover" Huang Daqiang and Wen Xiaotian, who are determined to accomplish a big case, as well as the undercover informant "A Jie" (played by Wu Yue), who has already infiltrated the drug dealers.
