Eddie (Josh Brolin) is a producer at Capitol Pictures. On the surface, it seems like a glamorous job; he spends his days attending high-end venues and parties, mingling with big stars and socialites. But in reality, what Eddie is really doing is cleaning up after these man-child celebrities who always find themselves in trouble. Director Lawrence (Ralph Fiennes) accidentally gets famous actress DeeAnna (Scarlett Johansson) pregnant, and Eddie must find a way to keep this a secret forever. An alcoholic veteran actor, Baird (George Clooney), is kidnapped just before filming starts, and it's up to Eddie to raise the $100,000 ransom. Additionally, Eddie must keep an eye out for the eager twin gossip columnists, the Sykes sisters (Tilda Swinton).
