Bounty hunter Jack Walsh (Robert De Niro) decides to go to New York to capture accountant Jonathan Mardukus (Charles Grodin), who embezzled $15 million from Chicago mob boss Jimmy Serrano (Dennis Farina) and donated most of the money to charity, for a bounty of $100,000. Jack originally planned to take Jonathan on a flight to Los Angeles before midnight on Friday, but Jonathan has a fear of flying, so they have to take a train instead. Meanwhile, FBI agent Alonzo Mosley (Yaphet Kotto), Jimmy's mob enforcers, and bounty hunter Marvin (John Ashton) are all tracking them down. Will Jack and Jonathan's hilariously perilous journey be a success? The film was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Comedy/Musical and Best Actor (Robert De Niro).
