In the 1940s, 9-year-old Ralph believes that the perfect Christmas gift is a Red Ryder BB gun, but everyone thinks it's a very dangerous gift, even going so far as to clash with teachers, parents, and even Santa Claus. The most interesting part of this film is the depiction of a child's rich world, with many moments that make you laugh and reflect on our own childhoods. Ralph's monologue is delivered in the voice of an adult man, which is also interesting.
