Four young adults in the 13th arrondissement of Paris—Emilie, Camille, Nora, and Amber—are friends, sometimes lovers, and often both. The four main actors are Lucie Zhang, Makita Samba ([Noble Animals]), Béatrice Dalle ([Impossible Love]), and Noémie Merlant. The film is adapted from the comic short story collection "Killing and Dying" by New Yorker cartoonist Adrian Tomine. The screenplay is co-written by Jacques Audiard and directors Léa Mysius ([Ava]) and Céline Sciamma ([Portrait of a Lady on Fire]). The crew includes cinematographer Paul Guilhaume ([Ava]) and music director Pierre-Marie Dru ([I Lost My Body], [Annette]). Playtime is responsible for international sales of the film, while Memento handles its release in France. The film is currently in its second week of shooting, with plans to release as early as spring 2021.
