Xia Gang (portrayed by Law Kar-ying) is the executive president of a pharmaceutical company. He is forced to leave the company due to the oppression from the chairman's son, Dong Dashao. With no money, he becomes disheartened and ends up as a beggar on the streets. During his time begging, he meets a group of good friends and falls in love with a girl named A Nan (portrayed by Gigi Leung).
