Uncle Piao (played by Dong Piao) works as a news anchor at a television station, and his family of five relies on him to make ends meet, living in financial hardship. His wife, Aunt Piao (played by Shen Dianxia), is very enthusiastic about buying lottery tickets, always hoping for a day when they'll win. They dream every day of becoming wealthy and moving into a spacious home.
