Nielsen (played by Dave Foley) has been feeling smug about dating his boss's daughter (played by Jennifer Tilly) because, barring any surprises, he is set to become the boss's son-in-law, which also means he will naturally be the heir to the company. However, Nielsen is shocked when one day, the boss announces the next general manager, and it isn't him. In a fit of anger, Nielsen threatens the boss's life. Eventually, Nielsen calms down, but when he goes to apologize to the boss, he is shocked to find that the boss is dead.
