Sohei Tashiro was originally an elite at a major bank until he was transferred, or more precisely, demoted to a subsidiary company, where he stayed until retirement. For decades, he approached his work diligently, but now he feels lost. As days pass by, he has nothing to do, and time seems to crawl slower than a snail. "I don't want my life to end this way."
