Inspector Chung (played by Shu-Shao Hung) has an accident with his partner but is saved by the kind-hearted Fan Shu-Wah (played by Kay Tse). Seeing Shu-Wah's goodness and bravery, Inspector Chung finds a way to help the impoverished Shu-Wah enter the police academy. At the academy, Inspector Chung and his colleagues work hard to ensure Shu-Wah achieves good grades so she can join their team.
