Antoine (played by Bourvil) is an ordinary middle-aged man. By an unexpected twist of fate, he meets the gangster boss Saloyan (played by Louis de Funès). Antoine is completely unaware of Saloyan's true identity; he only thinks of him as a rare kind-hearted person, since Saloyan not only covers all his travel expenses from Naples to Bordeaux but also gifts him a super luxurious car. With excitement and anticipation, Antoine embarks on his lucky journey in his shiny new car. However, troubles quickly arise along the way. It turns out that the car Saloyan gave Antoine is hiding a large stash of gold, diamonds, and drugs. Saloyan takes advantage of Antoine's kindness, indirectly making him an accomplice in transporting the stolen goods. Will this seemingly flawless plan succeed?
