The story takes place in an era of brave knights, beautiful princesses, and battles against wizards. Wandering artist Ruslan dreams of becoming a knight and encounters the beautiful princess Mira, with whom he falls in love. They spend wonderful times outside the castle together. However, happiness does not last long, as the evil wizard Chernomov kidnaps Mira before Ruslan’s eyes using a magical vortex as part of his plot. After the panic, Ruslan begins to try to traverse the magical forest in search of the princess, overcoming numerous obstacles with the help of a series of marvelous creatures, and eventually defeats the evil magic, living happily ever after with the princess.
