"The Third Wave" tells the story of Europe, which has been ravaged by a zombie virus for six years, finally finding a "cure" that can turn zombies back into normal people. However, these recovered individuals are not accepted by society; their families and relatives reject them, and the government strictly controls them. Amid a mix of anger, guilt, and fear, some "rehabilitated zombies" begin to engage in terror activities, plunging society into turmoil once again. The drug cures the illness but cannot heal the human heart.
