The story takes place in Paris in 1997. Camille (played by Agnès Jaoui) is a passionate and spirited woman who works as a part-time tour guide while writing her thesis. At the same time, she has taken on the responsibility of helping her sister Odile (played by Sabine Azéma) find a new apartment. By chance, Camille encounters a man named Marc (played by Lambert Wilson), who is silently crying. His tears make Camille's heart skip a beat, and coincidentally, Marc happens to be a real estate agent. Many admirers surround the beautiful Camille, one of whom is Simon (played by André Dussollier). Although he creates many opportunities to interact with her, Camille seems oblivious to his attentions. A luxurious apartment brings these characters together, sparking bright fireworks.
