Fatsah Bouyahmed plays Fata, a simple farmer living in Algeria. The most precious thing in his life is his cow, Jacquelina. Fata's dream is to take Jacquelina to the annual agricultural fair held in Paris. This year, Fata finally receives the invitation he's dreamt of, but his wife Naïma, played by Hajar Masdouki, does not agree with his decision. Fata stubbornly leads Jacquelina and resolutely embarks on the journey to Paris. Due to tight finances, he decides to first take a boat to Marseille and then walk to Paris from there. Along the way, Fata encounters various unexpected events, and his relationship with Naïma undergoes numerous tests.
