The King of Jin, Wan Chang, seizes the national treasure of the Wei Dynasty—the Acupoint Copper Man—and gathers many experts to study it. However, one of the researchers, Wan Pinjing, is killed. The next day, the prince encounters the young hero Lu, whose martial arts and medical skills he greatly admires, and decides to send Lu to the research institute for an important role. To further control Lu, the prince forces his adoptive daughter, Fei Feng, to marry Lu. But the young prince, Wan Pin, intends to marry Fei Feng as well. Seeing his beloved taken away, he secretly plots revenge. He first deceives Fei Feng into stealing Lu's gold medal, nearly causing Lu's death. After Fei Feng realizes the truth, she looks down on the actions of the prince and his son; she also comes to see Lu as a virtuous man and develops feelings for him. That night, when Lu secretly visits the research institute, he falls into a trap but is rescued by a group of masked experts. During the escape, one of the masked men is accidentally injured, and later Lu discovers that Fei Feng is secretly treating the wounds in her room, realizing she is his savior. He begins to think of a hidden chamber housing the copper man, but while attempting to take the copper man, he is captured. On the way back to the palace with the young prince, they are suddenly intercepted by a mysterious figure, and a battle between dragon and tiger is about to unfold…
