Despite being a piano tuner, Gao Yin Kai (played by Alan Tam) knows nothing about music. His colleague Cindy (played by Sandra Ng) has a crush on him and has made quite a few blunders trying to get close to him. However, Gao Yin Kai truly likes DJ Su Shi Di (played by Maggie Cheung), but they clearly come from different worlds, so he decides to keep his feelings to himself. Composer Lin Xue Fu (played by Miu Kiu Wai) visits Su Shi Di's home and takes the opportunity to make inappropriate advances, which greatly annoys Su Shi Di. At this moment, Gao Yin Kai happens to be tuning the piano for Su Shi Di and stops Lin Xue Fu's misconduct, which leads to Gao Yin Kai and Su Shi Di officially becoming friends. Later, Lin Xue Fu, harboring resentment, attempts to take revenge on Gao Yin Kai but is cleverly outmaneuvered by the latter, causing Su Shi Di to view Gao Yin Kai in a new light. By chance, Gao Yin Kai encounters the spirit of his great-uncle, who entrusts him with publishing the former's music under his own name. Unexpectedly, it becomes an instant hit and wins the heart of Su Shi Di.
