Nancy (Lake Bell) is a 34-year-old female journalist. One day, on a train, Nancy encounters a girl who leaves a book in her hands; this book is a signal between the girl and her blind date. After the train arrives at the station, Nancy wants to return the book to the girl, but the girl has already disappeared. While Nancy is wandering under the big clock at London Waterloo Station with the book, a man named Jack (Simon Pegg) calls out to her, holding a book identical to hers. It turns out that Jack mistakenly thinks Nancy is his blind date. Thus, by chance, Nancy and Jack begin to date. Can this relationship, which started with a misunderstanding, successfully reach its conclusion?
