The quirky and naive girl Sophie, at 28 years old, is still working part-time in a restaurant while desperately wanting to become a cartoonist, despite not having formal training. Even her desire to return to school is met with the judgment of being too old. Unexpectedly, she lands a job at a well-known comic publishing house in Paris, which is actually just a marketing and PR position that involves menial tasks, all while being constantly challenged by a harsh boss. Her work troubles aren't the only issues; she also finds herself struggling in love, encountering either unworthy partners or misunderstandings stemming from her own daydreaming. Even the chance for a romantic one-night stand seems cursed. Fortunately, her best friend Julia, who dreams of becoming an actress, supports her throughout. How can Sophie break free from her mediocre life, and will she ever meet her true love?
