A classic work by Robert Bresson from France in 1962, starring Florence Delay ("Night Train"), awarded the Jury Prize and the Humanitarian Award at the Cannes Film Festival. This film is the fourth adaptation of the legend of Joan of Arc in film history and is Bresson's most mature work following "The Escape" and "Pickpocket," characterized by structuralism and minimalist style.
