At a lavish party in a manor, a celebration is underway for the engagement of Jim Sanders (played by Michael E. Knight) and Petty Winston (played by Phoebe Cates). At the height of the party, Jim's friend disguises himself as a robber and kidnaps him to take him to their bachelor party. Surrounded by friends, the atmosphere is naturally filled with drink, revelry, and chaos. While Jim is drunk and fast asleep, a loud noise comes from the pool outside, revealing a beautiful girl with wings (played by Emmanuelle Béart) collapsed in the pool. It is evident that she is the legendary angel. Of course, what worries Jim even more is that Petty mistakenly believes he is having an affair with another girl, and her domineering father threatens to kill the uncaring suitor. Jim's friends also have their own plans, scheming to profit from the angel.   The angel from heaven brings Jim no small trouble...
