A middle-class couple goes on a road trip, with the husband (Leon Niemczyk) always boasting, while the wife (Jolanta Umecka) just goes along with him. Along the way, they encounter a young hitchhiker (Zygmunt Malanowicz). After discussion, the couple decides to give him a ride. They arrive at the seaside, where the husband prepares to sail on their private sailboat to show off to the young man, inviting him to join. The young man gladly accepts, and together they set off.
