Vic is an unlucky young Russian-American who lives with his grandmother in Milwaukee and works as a driver for disabled individuals. One day, amid a street protest, an already late Vic reluctantly agrees to first drive his grandfather and a group of Russian gentlemen to a funeral, but they are unwilling to let Vic stop in a Black neighborhood to pick up Tracy, a Black girl with muscular dystrophy. Facing the risk of losing his job, the complicated situation makes Vic's day even worse.
