Four months after the Woodstock music festival in 1969, a shooting incident occurred that, while less famous, was no less significant in terms of meaning and achievement. This film documents that event. This band can be seen as the ender of rock music in the 1960s, with its superficial appearance dating back to December 1969. At that time, the Rolling Stones, a band with a large following in America, held a free concert at Altamont in California, attended by 400,000 spectators. However, tragedy struck when the Hells Angels, hired to maintain order, unleashed violence during the concert, resulting in the death of an audience member. This documentary, also known as "Gimme Shelter," captures some of the most memorable moments of the Rolling Stones and the fierce presence of the Hells Angels, who, instead of keeping peace, ended up in violent clashes with some audience members, causing the grand myth of love and peace of the 1960s to collapse in an instant. Due to these incredibly real scenes, the film holds exceptional importance in rock literature.
