Directed by Brandon Trost, a frequent collaborator with Seth Rogen, and adapted from the novella "Sell Out" published in The New Yorker in 2013, with the screenplay written by Simon Rich. Rogen plays two roles, one of which is Herschel Greenbaum, a laborer who immigrated to America in the 1920s and accidentally fell into a vat of pickles, where he was brined for a hundred years, maintaining his perfect shape. Now, a century later, Greenbaum wakes up in Brooklyn, New York, without a trace of aging. He goes in search of his family, only to find that his great-grandson, Ben Greenbaum (also played by Rogen), is still alive. Ben is a mild-mannered programmer, which Herschel completely fails to understand.
