The impulsive Rose Fairy (played by Sun Li) longs to find her one true love, just like the Purple Fairy. She steals the legendary purple-green sword, which has witnessed timeless romance, from the Sun and Moon Divine Lamp and comes to the mortal realm, hoping to find her destined prince who can pull the sword from its sheath. The bandit Qing Yisi (played by Zheng Zhongji) just wants to be a humble bandit, but unexpectedly pulls out the Rose Fairy's purple-green sword, leading them to accidentally travel through time via the Time-Space Box, experiencing the Battle of Red Cliffs together. During their journey through time, the Rose Fairy shows her affection to Qing Yisi, who is only pretending to flatter her in hopes of returning to his original timeline. After using the Rose Fairy to reclaim the Time-Space Box from Cao Cao (played by Guo Degang), he resolutely abandons her and returns alone to his past. However, when he unexpectedly encounters the Rose Fairy again, he finds that a love has already taken root in his heart... The film borrows from the classic "The Time-Space Box" and features 58 stars in heartfelt performances, reenacting memorable scenes from recent films, delivering extraordinary laughter.
