In the South Asian battlefield during World War II, the Japanese army conducts a surprise attack and captures four Allied generals. To mitigate the impact, the military offers a hefty sum to appoint Captain Duan Hong (played by Wang Yu) to form a special team to rescue the allies. Duan Hong recruits Lao Sun, Cao Shang Fei, Billy, and the later-joined Lei Li (played by Lin Qingxia) for assistance. The special team passes through the territory of the Fierce Women tribe, where Duan Hong is shot and falls from the car, while the others are ordered to be detained by the tribe's leader (played by Zheng Shaoqiu). The wandering martial artist Er Niu (played by Jackie Chan), who has been following them, steps in to help Lei Li during a critical moment. The special team bursts into the Japanese army's camp, where Duan Hong suddenly appears, leading to a chaotic fight. Director Zhu Yanping mixes Chaplin's silent film performance style, Western film set atmosphere, zombie movie sequences, and popular songs of the time to create this action comedy, which had substantial box office success upon its release, marking the first collaboration between Jackie Chan and Zhu Yanping.
