Yuan Shikai (played by He Jiajun) is deeply devoted to a cult in his quest to ascend the throne and become emperor. The cult leader gifts him a jade ring to ensure his success, but Yuan Shikai unexpectedly gives the ring to the Third Princess Shen Yu (played by Li Ka Shing) of the Fourth Prince and plans to make her his empress. The leader instructs Yuan Shikai to retrieve the ring, while Yang Jun (played by Andy Lau), a revolutionary army official secretly infiltrating Yuan Shikai's circle, kidnaps Shen Yu to prevent Yuan's ascension. General Li (played by Lau Kar-wing) subsequently pursues Yang and Shen in the name of Yuan Shikai along the way. While passing by Baozhilin, Yang Jun encounters Huang Qiying (played by Adam Cheng) and entrusts the crucial task of escorting Shen Yu to Huang Qiying and his son Huang Feihong (played by Ji Tiancheng), who is obsessed with Drunken Fist. On their way, they are ambushed by a spy (played by Jacky Wu), leading to their car crashing into Ren Bo's (played by Lau Ka-leung) winery. The Drunken Fist master Ren Bo helps them out but makes them work off the damages, thus getting them involved in the dispute over the jade ring, with General Li soon arriving with his forces, prompting fierce battles among various skilled fighters...
