Afeng (played by Bai Xin Hui) faces a career setback, losing her job and becoming unemployed. In such a vast society, finding a job proves to be incredibly difficult. With no income, all the financial pressure at home falls on her husband Zhikai (played by Na Dou), who is feeling overwhelmed. In desperation, Afeng turns to a hypermarket and becomes a salesperson; however, her shy personality makes it hard for her to promote herself, resulting in her performance being at zero. Zhikai meets Jie Ge (played by Na Wei Xun) at work, and upon Jie Ge’s recommendation, Afeng and her colleague Mei Xiu (played by Lin Mei Xiu) are given the opportunity to enter a shopping channel at a TV station. Under Jie Ge’s special training, Afeng's eloquence improves rapidly, and her sales performance skyrockets, creating a subtle tension between her and Mei Xiu, who is also a sales expert.
