Yunyan Pavilion is a culinary institution representing the highest standard of the Republic of Korea. Each time there is a turnover, the strongest disciple is selected to become the heir. This time, two talented culinary students emerged: the exceptionally gifted Seong-chan (played by Kim Kang-woo) and the ambitious Bong-soo (played by Lim Won-hee). In the final competition, Bong-soo used underhanded tactics to frame Seong-chan and managed to drive him out of Yunyan Pavilion. Five years later, a cooking competition for the coveted "Master Chef's Knife," passed down from the Joseon Dynasty, is about to begin, attracting many skilled chefs, including the eager Bong-soo, who is ready to seize the opportunity.
