The film's storyline revolves around Jean Grey, one of the most popular members of the X-Men, and tells the story of her gradual transformation into the Dark Phoenix. During a life-threatening space rescue mission, Jean is struck by a mysterious cosmic force, becoming the most powerful mutant. Following this, Jean Grey not only has to figure out how to control her increasingly unstable powers, but also must battle the demons within herself. Her loss of control leads to the disintegration of the entire X-Men family and threatens to plunge the planet into destruction. "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" is the most intense and emotionally rich X-Men movie to date, serving as a culmination of the X-Men series over the past 20 years. The beloved mutant family is about to face their most formidable enemy—who just so happens to be one of their own.
