Three years later, scientist Wayne Szalinski (played by Rick Moranis) and his family move to a coastal community in Nevada to continue his research on electromagnetic molecules. Three years prior, he had inadvertently "shrunk" his children, resulting in a series of humorous events. This time, confused Wayne makes the same mistake, creating a big mess. During an experiment, his two-year-old son Adam is accidentally "enlarged." Whenever little Adam comes into contact with electricity, he keeps growing.
