On the eve of their graduation trip to Jeju Island, spring blooms with confusion. Se-mi, who had been sleeping on her desk, suddenly awakens in tears. She dreamed that her closest friend, Seo-eun, lay peacefully on the green grass. Worried that Seo-eun, who is hospitalized due to a foot injury, might face any unforeseen events, Se-mi skips class and sneaks to the hospital, trying to persuade her to join the trip, hoping to muster the courage to confess her long-hidden feelings. However, Seo-eun fluctuates about the trip, seemingly hiding something unknown, while anxious Se-mi remains oblivious to the fact that Seo-eun's heart is like a cup of water precariously balanced on the edge of the table, ready to spill. Built on beautifully ethereal soft-focus cinematography, it hovers around the day of confession, highlighting the ambiguous feelings unique to girls. Directed for the first time by the dual-actor Joo Hyun-cheol, who boldly invokes the 2014 Sewol Ferry disaster as a wedge, reflecting the painful reality through a fictional dream and imparting a dreamlike and beautiful youth. The two delicate newcomers, Lee Do-eun and Park Hae-soo, showcase touching performances while the musical genius Woo Heo provides a beautifully melancholic score, composing a deeply resonant emotional piece.
