Young girl Enola Penny (played by Virginia Newcomb) unexpectedly enters a dilapidated opera house late at night, where bizarre and eccentric actors perform six unusual stories for her: "The Toad's Mother" - an American couple travels to a remote mountain town in France, where they meet a strange old woman; "I Love You" - in Berlin, a marriage comes to an end, as a hysterical, paranoid man makes it unbearable for his wife to endure his all-consuming love; "Nocturnal Emission" - a man tormented by lascivious dreams becomes lost between dreams and reality; "Accident" - real death may be too confusing and cruel for a little girl, but that is its true nature; "Memory Collection" - she kills women seeking death, seeing and possessing their memories; "Sweetness" - a couple lost in sweets and romantic love unknowingly reaches the end of their emotional journey.
