In the vastness of space, a commercial spaceship named the Hunter is on a long journey. Onboard are 40 passengers, including a violent criminal, Richard Riddick (played by Vin Diesel). When they reach the Danjiar star system, a sudden accident severely damages the ship, resulting in a rapid loss of air and ultimately forcing a landing on a hot and desolate planet. The impact during landing nearly tears the ship apart, leading to numerous casualties. The survivors find themselves in this strange land, where the harsh natural environment tests everyone. People from different nations and professions must set aside their grievances and unite.
