The rude and boorish Bobek (played by Kim Collins) and his daughter Victoria (played by Amy Brassette) participate in a fishing competition, only to have the fish they catch eaten by a great white shark. Furious, Bobek resorts to using explosives against the shark, resulting in a terrifying disaster for father and daughter, and even the captain of their yacht cannot escape unharmed. The next day, young people including Ava (played by Mackenzie Rosman), Cameron (played by Jaren Mitchell), Mick (played by Shawn C.
