In the near future, Japanese politicians, in order to promote social development, officially announced the launch of the "ARK Program" to enhance the research level of intelligent robots. Dr. Nobuhiko Kōmyōji (played by Kazushige Nagashima), who possesses a righteous heart, becomes involved, only to discover that the person in charge intends to use the name of the "ARK Program" to develop military robots. After this, Dr. Kōmyōji dies in an accident under mysterious circumstances, leaving behind his daughter Mitsu (played by Aimi Satsukawa), who is in college, and his underage son Kōsuke (played by Yūto Ikeda). One night, the siblings are kidnapped by a group of unidentified individuals, and at a critical moment, a mysterious man comes to their rescue.
