A simple and true story of a magician and his son. A once-popular magician is now down on his luck, willing to take any job, even as a cleaner in a nightclub. His 10-year-old son, understanding and caring, just wants his drunken father to have a better life. To become a good dad, the father vows to return to the stage of magic no matter what it takes. Inspired by the father-son bond in Cormac McCarthy's novel "The Road," this film blends themes of familial love and redemption, directed by Singaporean cinema pioneer Khee Meng Chua, with the real-life magician Bosco Francis making a special appearance.
