This film is the latest work by Alain Gsponner, the director of "Heidi and Grandpa," and is a German version of "The Hunger Games"! In a future society where class distinctions are clear, the system divides the elite from the weak; the former enjoys a wealthy life and protection, while the latter is sent to crowded and dirty lower-class areas. Competition for abundant resources is everywhere. Zack and Nadi are selected to participate in a training camp for the qualification of admission to top universities, where they must not only cooperate to complete various tasks but also excel in their personal performances. Compared to Nadi, who follows the game rules, Zack, who yearns for freedom, begins to question the system. Their friction gradually intensifies: a missing diary, an accidental murder, not only change their fates but also unveil the private desires and lies under the twisted system.
